Tobi: Parental leave expert, private equity bonuses and Nigerian attitudes to money

This week’s episode is a conversation with Tobi. Tobi works in private equity research - an area  I’ll be honest is not really my forte! She explained what this role actually entails and the type of salary and bonus people in this industry can expect to take home.

She is also a parental leave expert and has recently launched My Bump Pay - an incredible financial resource for any would be parents detailing numerous companies parental leave policies.

I picked her brain on all things maternity pay, why it’s important for businesses,  whether or not it’s negotiable and the pension gap and what women can do to try and bridge it.
